The Case Champagne Bar
4-6 Hotel Street, Leicester (0116 251 7675) This is arguably the slickest bar in
Leicester and a place to see and be seen. It’s particularly
popular with those out to really impress a first date or with
groups of people with something like a birthday or special
anniversary to celebrate. There’s an excellent selection of
different Champagnes, with some available either by the glass
or bottle and some fine cocktails. There’s also a selection
of bar snacks served both lunchtime and in the evenings such
as duck spring rolls with hoisin dip, or deep-fried battered
calamari with lemon mayo.
Café Bruxelles
90-92 High Street, Leicester (0116 224 3013) Café Bruxelles is a European style bar
located in one of the elegant old buildings on Leicester’s
High Street. The interior boasts a high domed ceiling complete
with an ornate chandelier as the centrepiece. In this stylish
setting you can enjoy a variety of European beers as well as
an excellent wine list, there’s also plenty of snacks on
offer including soups, salad and sandwiches.
Revolution

certain the love this bar. Revolution is part of a growing
chain of bars that specialises in providing customers with an
unrivalled selection of vodkas from different countries and
with different flavours. The atmosphere in the Leicester
branch is particularly lively especially at the weekend. They
also serve a good range of food such as chicken tikka masala,
sausage & mash, and their much-loved Revolution burger.
Regular live music events with top DJ’s also add to the
appeal.
Fuzzock & Firkin
203 Welford Road, Leicester (0116 270 8141) The Fuzzock & Firkin is just one of
several Firkin chain pubs in the Leicester area. As a Firkin
pub you can expect to find the usual selection of beers such
as Firkin Best and Dogbolter, in a setting of bare wooden
floors and mix and match furniture. The atmosphere is lively
on the weekend and is a favourite with the local student crowd
looking for good value food and beer.
